A clear restaurant menu needs: your restaurant name and logo at the top; organized sections with category headings (Appetizers, Entrées, Desserts, Drinks); each item with a name, brief description, and price; any allergen or dietary notes (vegetarian, gluten-free, contains nuts); and your address, website, or social handles at the bottom. Keep descriptions concise — one or two sentences per item — so guests can decide quickly.
Printed menus remain preferred for full-service restaurants — they signal quality and don't require a phone. Digital menus (PDF linked via QR code) reduce printing costs for frequently updated menus and work well for cafés and food trucks. Many restaurants use both: printed menus for dine-in and a PDF version linked to the QR code on the table. PublishMedia exports your menu in both formats from the same project.
