What counts as a conversion?+
Each time you upload a Publisher (.pub) file and we open it into a clean PDF plus an editable project, that's one conversion. Re-opening, editing, or re-exporting an existing project does not — and starting from a template, creating a blank document, or importing a PDF or image never uses a conversion.
Is this only for opening old .pub files?+
No. Your plan also covers starting from templates, creating new Publisher-style documents from a blank page, and importing PDFs or images — not only opening .pub files.
What is an active project?+
An active project is a design saved in your workspace. You can delete projects you no longer need to free up room within your plan's active-project count.
Can I upgrade later?+
Yes. You can move to a higher tier at any time, and your projects and files come with you.
Are lifetime tiers really lifetime?+
Yes — a lifetime tier is a one-time purchase of that tier's access, with no recurring charge, subject to fair-use and abuse prevention.
Why are there monthly conversion limits?+
Opening a .pub file does real work on our servers (recovering text and pictures, rendering pages). Monthly limits protect those resources and keep the service fast and fair. Templates, new documents, and PDF/image imports are unlimited.
Can organizations use the individual tier?+
Agency, client, and team work — including white-label exports and shared/team folders — needs Lifetime Tier 3. The Free, Tier 1, and Tier 2 plans are for personal use.
Can I use this for client work?+
Lifetime Tier 2 allows solo commercial use. Agency or client work and white-label exports require Lifetime Tier 3.
